Ahh welcome to the club. Jk (:
The Classic Gentle Soaps: Dove, Cetaphil, Aveeno. — Usually Cetaphil is the best.

But… If you’re looking for something natural you might want to google ChagrinValleySoaps.

Ohh if you eczema then try these soaps from Chagrin Valley– Castile and Calendula or oat Milk Honey Oatmeal. These soaps have really transformed some people’s skin.

Pure Castile soap is as mild as they come. It is a favorite with those whose very sensitive skin find palm oil or coconut oil soaps too drying, but still require a bar that cleans thoroughly. This soap is gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin. It is often used for eczema, psoriasis, and delicate baby skin.

What importance do breastfeeding give to infants compared to that of commercial milk?

admin answers:

Milk or formula?

I’ll assume formula and give you just a few reasons
1. Breastfed infants have less ear infections
2. A reduced risk of disease
3. Lower risk of SIDS
4. Usually have higher IQs
5.Children receive the most complete and optimal mix of nutrients & antibodies
6.The varying composition of breastmilk keeps pace with the infant’s individual growth and changing nutritional needs
7.Reduced risk of chronic constipation, colic, and other stomach upsets
8.Nursing promotes facial structure development, enhanced speech, straighter teeth and enhances vision
9.Protection against allergies, asthma, eczema, and severity of allergic disease
10. Also breastfed babies enjoy a special warm bonding and emotional relationship with their mothers

Helen asks…

My 14 month old son has eczema! How can I get rid of it?

My 14 month old son has had eczema since he was about 7 months old. It’s always been in the crease of his arms (by his elbows) & at the crease where his leg & foot meet. I have some baby eczema cream I use on him but I don’t think it’s working. I’ve used aveeno baby eczema too & that didn’t help. I honestly don’t know how to get rid of it. He wakes up in the middle of the night scratching it 🙁 I wash his clothes seperate & use fragrance free dye free detergent with NO fabric softener. I’ve asked his doctor & he said it’ll go away on its own but I think it’s getting a little out of hand now. I put cream on it twice a day & it still cracks open & is very dry and rough feeling. Someone please help! 🙁 he is my first baby & I am stressing out! Thank you!

I’m surprised your doctor didn’t give any ointment for use in the mean time.
I’d personally go back to the doctor to get something to use, your little man shouldn’t have to suffer.
My girl uses a prescribed Locoid cream, and it’s excellent. Ask for this at the doctors.
We also use aqueous cream on her everyday, you can use as much as you like to relieve their itching, lather it on him. Ask for this at the doctors too, say that it’s be recommended to you by someone and you’d like some. It’s great for many other dry, itchy skin conditions also so there should be no problem getting this cream. It’s harmless.
Each night we give her a bath in an Aveeno oatmeal bath, to help the itching. It’s especially itchy at night because it gets hit under the blankets, and perspiration is so bad for the itching.
If your son is itching a lot in the night, wipe him down with a wet flannel and apply aqueous cream while he sleeps.
Your doctor sounds pretty slack, your poor boy shouldn’t have to itch all the time. Don’t leave the doctors office without some locoid and aqueous creams (or another similar prescribed eczema cream)
Good luck and best wishes!

What is wrong with my babies?

I have 9 week old twin both have been diagnosed with acid reflux. Lately, they have been coughing and when they do it sound as if they are choking. They also have eczema. Does anyone think they could possibly have asthma or could it be allergies? I had terrible asthma as a child and am worried they will have to take the same steroid pumped medications I had to.

admin answers:

My twins had colds around that age too and they coughed and sounded like they were choking.

They recovered. That said, I had no history of asthma.

How did they diagnose them with acid reflux? I’m not trying to question it but it seems like every baby has reflux these days and I wonder if it’s just a ploy to sell medication and/or formula.

How do I get rid of my acne scars?

I am a 13 year old girl with not too much acne, but a few acne scars left over from picking at pimples. How do I make myskin appear flawless?

admin answers:

Use something called witch Hazel . Its in a clear bottle , use it after you use your facial wash or just get up and wash your face with warm water you must do it twice a day , when you get up and before bed . If your face is dry use shea butter its co co butter and you can get it from a dollar general or even wal mart. It will clear your scars up . Trust me I had acne real bad and my baby has eczema.

Laura asks…

How to get rid of eczema on my stomach without using cream?

admin answers:

PLEASE use primrose oil!!!! I’ve had eczema since I was a baby, but a year ago I tried taking primrose oil, and now the eczema on my body is all gone!! I’m not kidding! Unfortunately though, it doesn’t seem to have any effect on the eczema on my face.. So my face is still as bad as before ): but PLEASE try primrose oil!! I know how annoying eczema is, when I was little I was afraid of going to sleep since I knew in the morning my body would hurt due to all the scratching and bleeding, now I just have to care about the eczema on my face which is A LOT better than about my entire body.
But I highly suggest you use some sort of moisturising cream, as it will help a lot. I use Nivea since it’s thicker and lasts longer before needing to reapply.

@Ron , you make it sound like it’s THAT easy to beat eczema. I have done all those steps since I was little, and it’s FAR from that easy to beat eczema. If you had eczema you would know what it’s like, I hate people like you who say things like that as if it was so easy, you DONT KNOW how much people like us have suffered in our life, so stop making it sound like it’s THAT easy to beat it, IT’S NOT.

Paul asks…

What would you recommend for Itchy Dry Skin?

I have tried plenty of oils and lotions for my skin and somehow my dry skin never goes away, at times (especially on my legs) I scratch myself so hard I end up with scabs later on. Also, my arms turn red and get really irritated. Any product recommendations? I would prefer something scentless.

admin answers:
